January 11, 2010, (Sawf News) - Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart so loved their anonymity during their secret New Year getaway on the Isle of Wight that they plan to buy a house there.

The couple is thrilled that they went unrecognized most of the time at Ventnor, a seaside resort on the Isle of Wight, off the South Coast of England.

"Rob and Kristen were only recognized a handful of times while in Ventnor, they loved it," says a friend.

"They were able to walk around largely unnoticed - like a normal couple. They've talked about buying a property on island for when the pressures of Hollywood get too much."

Ventnor, with a population of 7,000, has more sunny days than much of the British Isles because of its location on the cliff of the Island's south coast. It's a favored celebrity destination because of the anonymity that it affords.

"Well-known artists and musicians have found that they can live normal lives in Ventnor, away from the media glare," a local store owner told People magazine.
